Hocking Hills Inspire Shelter provides temporary shelter, fellowship, guidance, resources, and encouragement for those who find themselves living in a place not meant for human habitation. 

My Sister's Place

My Sister's Place is a domestic violence agency in Athens, Ohio, serving Athens, Hocking, and Vinton Counties, providing 24/7 hotline, outreach counseling, and an emergency shelter.

We promote the well-being of our patients and the quality of life in their communities.

HAPCAP

Mobilizes resources to empower individuals and communities through advocacy and quality services that promote self-sufficiency and improved quality of life.

​Logan Public Transit is a demand response public transportation system. We provide curb-to-curb transportation throughout Hocking County.

SE Ohio Foodbank

The Southeast Ohio Foodbank  & Regional Kitchen provide access to affordable, quality food resources to those individuals, organizations, and other entities seeking to mitigate food insecurity.

SEOLS

Southeastern Ohio Legal Services® (SEOLS) gives legal help without attorney fees to people with low income and limited savings and assets. We can also serve organizations of low-income people.

AMHA

​The mission of the Athens Metropolitan Housing Authority is to assist low-income families, including those who are elderly or disabled, with safe, decent, and affordable housing opportunities as those families strive to achieve self-sufficiency and improve the quality of their lives.

FMHA

The Fairfield Metropolitan Housing Authority is dedicated to serving the needs of low and moderate income families in Fairfield County

Columbus Field Office

The Columbus Field Office for HUD is located in Columbus, Ohio.  If there is any issues that need discussed contact the Chicago office.

317 Board

The Athens-Hocking-Vinton Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services Board (317 Board) plans, funds, and evaluates a community-based system of care for individuals in need of behavioral health or substance use disorder recovery services.
